Description: AWOL (A Work Of Love) is an annual event planned for the week of 14 to 19 June that will host 200 teenage campers in Empangeni. These teens will share God's love in the community of Empangeni and surrounding areas by tackling various projects/outreaches that are organised and run by the local churches. These projects/outreaches could be long term or as long as duration of AWOL – either way, 200 willing teenagers will be available to make a difference for one whole week!

Description: Joe’s first project in his series of "Zululand on Canvas" paintings will launch in October 2009 and will be to paint the majestic African elephant on a 3m wide x 5m high canvas. This unbelievable project of jumbo proportions will take an incredible four months to complete, where by Joe’s project can be publically viewed at his host venue the Boardwalk Inkwazi Shopping Centre in Kwa-Zulu Natal. With the aid of an electric scissor lift, Joe will paint his canvas to dimensional precision and craftsmanship.
